Extension Care Sheet

The Most important part of maintaining your investment is daily care and maintenance

• Soft of purified water is best for extensions.

• The longer you go in between washes the longer your hair will last.

• Before using any hot tools apply a heat protectant on the hair. ( unite 7 seconds glossing )

• Before getting in salt water or chlorine, we recommend rinsing your extensions and applying a leave in conditioner to give your extensions a protective coating. Then repeat the process when you get out of the water.

• Never sleep with wet extensions

• We recommend brushing your hair extensions with a Shelia stotts removal brush .

• Before bed brush the hair gently and loosely pull up hair or a low side braid to minimize tangles while sleeping. We recommend a silk pillow case and a silk hair scrunchy.

• Brush gently before washing. Only sulfate and paraben free shampoos are recommended. ( Unite- U Luxury shampoo / conditioner )

• Wash Gently in a downward motion. Don’t bunch up hair or over manipulate. Too much friction will cause tangling. Rinse with cool water.

• Condition with a hydrating or reparative product. Saturate extensions with conditioner and leave on to process as directed. Rinse with cool water.

• Towel dry hair and spray a leave-in-conditioner.

• Section hair and gently brush thoroughly to prevent matting near top of weft. 

• Light shedding is normal.

• Air dry completely or Rough-dry until 90% - 95% with low heat. Then round brush and style as desired.

• Apply a light weight oil ( unite blonde oil or u oil ) on mid shaft to ends morning and night to keep your hair extensions moisturized.
